A look inside

It sits behind the restaurant, in greenery and quiet, with a fountain at its heart and a corner for the little ones. Novi Sad remembers it for the shade; we remember it for afternoons that slide into evening unnoticed.

A garden you cannot see from the street

Behind the restaurant lies a garden you cannot see from the street. The kitchen runs all day, breakfast starts at 7am, and Friday and Saturday nights are live. Everything in between is why people come back.

A place run by one family

The menu runs from breakfast and our bakery to sharing boards, the grill, fish and national specialities. Over the years our kitchen crew has cooked for officials from the Balkans, Europe and beyond. These are the dishes guests ask for by name.

House signatures

The room joins the warmth of a home with the ease of good taste. Every corner is meant for comfort and an unhurried moment, sheltered from the city noise yet close to the centre.

A room that welcomes

Our kitchen keeps no secrets, only good ingredients and better intentions. Everything is cooked slowly, as if it were arriving at a family table. Traditional recipes, modern technique.

Flavours that tell a story

Nobody drinks in a hurry here. Every glass has its reason and every sip its company. At Priča a toast is raised with the heart, not only with the glass.

For a toast and a good story

Three things we never change

A recipe born at the Italian roastery Caffe L Antico, in business since 1909. In the garden of Priča it tastes better still.

Antico Sapore coffee

Right by the tables in the garden, so parents get to eat too. Teddy bears with printed quotes sit around the room, the favourite photo companions.

A corner for the little ones

Guitar led evenings that run until one in the morning. That is when Priča sings louder than planned.
